The Club is small and friendly and is one of the best value Clubs around and you are welcome to come along for a free session any Sunday morning, or Friday evenings in the summer. SUMMER FIXTURES are now listed so get your planner updated and come along to match practice. Our new venture to raise funds gives you the opportunity to win a prize each month whilst at the same time helping to keep your club open; to find out more you can find a link to download the 100 CLUB membership form at the top right hand corner of this page. Good luck! Following the success of last year's sessions, we are really pleased that Craig Keeling is able to offer Junior Coaching again this year. By clicking the link you can read about Craig and sign up. You can follow the progress of our teams results and some match reports, too. 2010 followed on from 2009's exceptional season. Men's A, Winter Mixed A and Summer Mixed were all promoted and the Men's B only missed out on a countback on sets! The Ladies team improved on last year, too. Another wonderful Tournament took place in September with a Battle Paul Finale. Please select here for our small Gallery of photos and if YOU have any relevant photos, we may be able to add them. Founded in 1989, the courts opened in 1991 together with the bowls green. Wing Tennis Club put up 3 courts on the site of the interwar grass courts that had been abandoned. The previous grass court champion (Lou Woodward) opened the courts in 1990 complaining about modern racquets being too strong! He brought the 1939-cup which he won and which the Club still uses. The Wing Tennis Club is located just south of the A418 (Aylesbury - Leighton Buzzard Road) alongside the football pitch, (Wing has a particularly strong football tradition), Bowls Club (which opened about the same time as the Wing Tennis Courts) and near the Wing Sports and Social Club. The entrance to bottom car park is opposite Rothschild Rd. Click here to see map
